So, total our league, we score from the fastest heat w/ the fastest runner from heat 2 being able to bump to 3rd place only.  How do I set that up?  I realize that I can just collect all of the times from the runners and manually place them scoring 5-3-1.  Is there a more automatic way to set this up?

I have never heard of such a thing! I can't think of any way to hack it to do it automatically.

It is generally when we get into situations where we are running a double dual..Since there are 3 teams on the track, no team can have 3 runners (8 lane).  So, it is set up that if a team has a dominant event, they are able to sweep the points by bumping for 3rd from the 2nd heat (fast to slow).  Manually, I would assume I would just set it up with say 10 finals heats, not that there would ever be that many running, record all times for all runners (at least in the top 2 heats) and manually place them 1-2-3 across the two heats...when I score it, I might have to override something.  I'll have to play tomorrow...

So, here's the scenario...2 heats boys open 100.  Runner's A and B from ht. 1 run 11.0 and 12.0 respectively.  Runner C from ht. 2 runs 11.5.  According to the program (and all rational logic), the placing would be A, C, B.  However, due to our bylaws a ht.2 runner can only bump for 3rd place REGARDLESS of time, so placing would need to be A,B,C (11.0, 12.0, 11.5)  I know it is somewhat nonsensical, but it's what I need to do.  How can I override the scoring so that I can do this?  Thanks!

PS-Let's assume that it is just a dual and there are no pre-entries and I am just recording names/places/times at the line.  Of course, this will be compounded when running double duals (although, I did figure out the leagues feature...NICE!)
