Anybody use RaceTab at meet with Ultrak L10 Timing System. We are running a meet in a few weeks with it. And are having difficulty with the import function without changing modes. Any suggestions?

We started with an Ultrak L10 for all of our meets. We would use the printouts from timing unit and staple on the heat sheets, and have someone hand type the times into racetab. To speed things up at the finish we would pre assign bib numbers to all athletes. I am sure there is a way to import the times into racetab, however with all the extra columns it took longer to clean up the  multi-lane text file than it took to just type in the results by hand. We still use the Ultrak L10 as a backup solution to our flash timing system. I know there is an add on for hy-tek meet manager to import the button timer data.  Wish I could help more... Good Luck

a couple of years ago, We tried this with Sprint 8.  It took a while but we were able to get it configured to import the times.  Our problem was we were using a null modem serial cable.  Once we plugged in a straight thru cable, it worked.  Since then we have upgraded to the Flash Timing FT FAT-60 system.  It works great wit RaceTab.  You just have to take the time to make sure your directories are configured correctly.
