Bug Fixes

  • If an event name was all lower case, it could cause issues with tie breakers... "high jump" instead of "High Jump" as event name was looking for second best instead of # of misses, for example. Hopefully people do capitalize the event names though because otherwise it just looks ugly.
  • Set button on stopwatch broke in last update. Fixed.
  • Fixed Athlete Export to CSV

New Features

  • Added Type dropdown to edit Timing/Bib Data Session screen.

Other Changes

  • Fixed spelling of "Declaration" on Events tab.
  • Moved "Label Printer" from the top slide down menu to the Publish tab, which makes a lot more logical sense.
  • Updated to have button on bottom of Athletes Export screen to be standard with the rest of the program.

A few thoughts:

Save import formats?  Much like custom reports.

Export Qualifiers by time IN ADDITION to place (want to do both for same meet).

If I print from the label preview printer I get a blank page, but if I print using the print button I get labels.

Label print should be an option under publish in addition or maybe instead of the label printer in the main menu/control panel or whatever you call it.

File save as ... I want it back :-) am I alone in this thought?  Does it show my age?

Unable to export athlete roster using export from athlete tab.  Screen shot of options and rtab file emailed to you.

Trying to use publish to csv for bib list -- using %ag under the Year section renders the year 3 for all and puts 3 in the field ... but if I use %ag in group or paid it works fine and gives me the ages.

Fixed Athlete List bug. I agree on the Label Printer... making the change to move it to Publish tab where it makes more sense.

"Hopefully people do capitalize the event names though because otherwise it just looks ugly."

What if you tried to capitalize event names for people?  As you leave focus say, "Would you like me to capitalize that event name?  Using lower case event names can cause scoring issues especially in field events."  And maybe "This appears to be a custom event name as we don't recognize it.  Standard event names trigger particular scoring and genre events.  Click for a list of standard event names."

Just thinking out loud as usual :-)  Helpful, hurtful, heading in the wrong direction?
