I have watched the tutorial and read what was in the manual part.  In breaking ties in the verticals- I understand to go to the bottom and just type in the number of misses.  That still leaves it tied.

Then, I went to the field series.  Typed in the last two and then three heights. I marked accoring to legend, i.e, o= make, x= miss, p=pass.  Then, for example, tonight there was a tie at 5'6 in boys' hj.
