Rounding times up

When I select timing precision on the Edit Event tab, if I check full seconds it seems to revert back to 100ths. Anyone else have this issue? Would like to have it round times up to next full second…Continue

"Didn't seem to work. When I exported/imported as RTQL, the only option it gave me was "ENTIRE MEET" but when importing the resultant file, nada. CSV produced a lot of extra columns - it would take too much time to make that method…"

"Yes, it's definitely possible. I would recommend having the meet set up the same on both computers,  exporting the results only in RTQL format from the field computer, importing that RTQL file into the track computer. That should…"

Merging results

Plan to use one computer to score running events, a second for field results. Both will have the same RaceTab database file. Wondering if it's possible to export result from field laptop and import into the other (or vice versa) to create a complete set of results (and scores). Some testing I've done doesn't seem successful. Any tips?See More

"Right into the event. Just put your cursor in the first blank and go from there. One thing to be aware of is RT won't catch a double scan, so a kid can take two places if you're not careful. Happened in our league championships last week!"

"We do it all the time. Be sure to get a laser barcode reader, much quicker and more accurate. You can get a decent one for $50-75."

"One thing to watch is that the wave offset can be universal. We run a coed novice meet at most HS meets, with the girls starting slightly behind the boys. But if you make the Female offset, say, 3 minutes, it will also shave 3 minutes from the girls…"
