I have a USB Wireless Presenter (one that you use for powerpoint presentations) and I am trying to use it for getting splits at the finish. I do not want to hit split each time a runner crosses the finish line. Is there a special way to get this connected to RaceTab?

I like the idea, but I don't think it will work out of the box. I think the wireless presenters emulate the left and right arrow keys. But RaceTab is looking for a spacebar press instead. It would an easy update to RaceTab to support either, but man I haven't even fired up my Windows computer in a long time to update RaceTab! Will see if I can dust off that laptop sometime and remember to do that update.
Don Passenger had a USB "plunger" button that he used for this purpose and that worked.
I host 3-4 meets a year using RaceTab.
This is the plunger I use. It defaults to the space bar but you can program it to emulate any keystroke you like.

Is that plunger durable enough to handle larger XC races with 150+ finishers?
I have this one but really only use it for Road Races as the mechanics feel a bit 'soft'

All that said, I'll support what Jason Indicated above, message Don Passenger at MichianaTiming and have him sell you a USB plunger box!

Ditto the plunger box from Don. We just use one of our sprint 8 plungers with it. Works wonderfully.
