"Go to your settings for your mouse on your computer.   Then additional mouse settings.   Change the double mouse click to fast.   This will help but is not perfect."

Wireless USB Presenter

I have a USB Wireless Presenter (one that you use for powerpoint presentations) and I am trying to use it for getting splits at the finish. I do not want to hit split each time a runner crosses the finish line. Is there a special way to get this connected to RaceTab? Link of presenter: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Blackweb-by-Walmart-2-4ghz-Wireless-Presenter/720596584See More

Road Race with Run & Walk Divisions

Hosting a local road race in a couple weeks.  It has both a 5K run and 5K walk division that has a simultaneous start & finish - basically we're using a single clock and both runners and walkers will have times mixed together.  I'm currently using Excel to do my sorting. Both events have the same age groups.1) How do I differentiate between the Run and the Walk when entering names, ages, genders?  I assume it works the same way as a track meet where you list athletes by "Event".2) When…See More

Timing Cross Country Meets

I've noticed when I'm using RaceTab's built-in stopwatch function -- and I try to use the space bar to set splits as racers cross the line -- there is a lag time in the ability to record the times. For example, when two racers are in a heated battle for the line, if they hit the line at virtually the same time, I can't double tap the space bar to get the times as accurately as possible. There has to be a gap between taps of at least half a second or more to record both times.I've had this issue…See More

"Randy, I found out by accident with HyTek that there is no need to export separate results files for boys and girls to upload to MaxPreps. A while back I had exported only 1 results file and uploaded it for both boys and girls without any problem,…"

Multi Event Seeding

How do you seed a multi-event (Hep/Pent/Dec) with Racetab? I downloaded entries for a Pent a couple weeks ago from a.net using rtql format. The Pent event was created, but I had to click through to create the sub events. When I printed a performance list all athletes were listed, but they were not in the sub events. I had to manually enter each athlete int the sub event and seed them. There were only 6 per gender so not a huge deal, but would like to know if it can be done automatically.See More
